Prices exclude GST, hosting and domain. Last updated 1 October 2026.
What it costs, who builds it, and how to judge a developer before you pay an advance.
A custom eCommerce website in Surat typically costs between ₹35,000 and ₹1,50,000+, depending on catalogue size, B2B features and integrations. At BizTorq, a Catalogue Website starts from ₹35,000, a B2B Wholesale Store from ₹75,000, and a Full Commerce store (B2B + retail, payments, shipping) from ₹1,45,000.
Prices exclude GST, hosting and domain. Product data entry is ₹25 per product if you want us to load the catalogue. See the full breakdown on our pricing page.
Surat has three kinds of eCommerce developers: freelancers, general web design agencies, and specialist eCommerce companies that focus on one industry. BizTorq is a Surat-based eCommerce company (Polarish Commercial Mall) that builds OpenCart stores specifically for textile manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers.
Whoever you shortlist, ask to see live stores in your own industry. Our textile projects include wholesalecatalogz.com, aarveecreation.com, mdilipkumar.com and Shree Textile Hub — see our work.
Yes. A catalogue-style eCommerce website where buyers browse products and enquire on WhatsApp can be built under ₹50,000. Our Catalogue Website package starts at ₹35,000 and includes up to 250 products, category structure, enquiry forms, WhatsApp buttons, mobile design and basic SEO.
Online payments, wholesale price lists and courier integration usually take a project above ₹50,000. A good approach is to start with the catalogue and upgrade later without rebuilding.
Ask these before paying any advance:
A developer who answers all six clearly in writing is usually a safe choice.
A freelancer is cheaper for a simple store; an eCommerce company is safer for a store you will run your business on. The main risk with freelancers is continuity — if they move on, nobody knows your code.
For wholesale stores with customer groups, MOQ rules and order workflows, a company with documented processes and ongoing support is usually worth the difference.
A local team can visit your office, see your catalogue files and understand your rate structure in one meeting. For textile businesses this matters: catalogue sets, design numbers, per-piece vs per-set rates, agent commission and transport/LR details are easier to explain face to face.
BizTorq also trains your staff in Gujarati or Hindi, so the people who actually upload designs can use the admin panel confidently.
You should — always confirm this in writing. With BizTorq, the domain, hosting account, source code and all customer and order data belong to you. We take no commission on your orders, and you can move to another developer at any time.
Most projects are paid in three milestones: an advance to start, a second payment on design and catalogue approval, and the balance at launch. Monthly services such as maintenance (from ₹4,000/month) and SEO (from ₹15,000/month) are billed monthly.
You answer 11 quick questions about your budget, business, products and features. The tool recommends a package, an estimated cost and timeline, the features you need, and whether your budget fits — instantly, with no sign-up.
Yes, it is free and your phone number is not required. Your answers are saved without contact details to improve the tool. Contact details are saved only if you choose to request a fixed quote.
The estimate uses BizTorq's published starting prices, so it is a realistic starting point, not a final quote. Custom modules, international payment setups and complex pricing rules are quoted after a short conversation.
Most businesses start in stages. You can launch a catalogue website with WhatsApp ordering first, then add wholesale login, payments and shipping when buyers are using it — without rebuilding the site.
Which software to build on — and why wholesale changes the answer.
For textile wholesalers and manufacturers, OpenCart is often the best fit because customer groups, wholesale pricing, MOQ and large catalogues are built in or easy to add, with no monthly platform fee. Shopify suits small retail brands that want a hosted, low-maintenance store. WooCommerce suits businesses already running WordPress.
The deciding factor is usually B2B: if different buyers need different rates, catalogue-set ordering or login-to-see-price, choose a platform you can customise freely.
Choose Shopify if you want a hosted retail store with minimal technical work; choose WooCommerce if you already use WordPress and want full ownership. Shopify charges a monthly subscription plus paid apps, and wholesale features usually need extra apps. WooCommerce is free software but needs hosting, plugins and regular updates.
For Surat textile wholesalers, we usually recommend a third option — OpenCart — because B2B pricing and bulk ordering cost less to build and run. We can explain the trade-offs for your catalogue in a free call.
OpenCart handles customer groups, group-wise prices, quantity discounts, minimum order quantities and thousands of products without paid add-ons for each feature. It is open source, so there is no monthly licence, and it runs well on standard Indian hosting.
We have built and customised OpenCart stores for textile businesses for years — see the OpenCart development page.
Yes, OpenCart itself is free and open source. Your recurring costs are hosting, domain renewal, any paid extensions, payment gateway transaction fees, and optional maintenance. There is no per-order fee from the platform or from BizTorq.
Yes. We migrate products, categories, images, customers and, where possible, order history, and set up 301 redirects from old URLs so you do not lose Google rankings. We also upgrade older OpenCart versions (2.x / 3.x) to OpenCart 4.
How the Surat way of selling — catalogue sets, design numbers, MOQ — works online.
Yes. A wholesale (B2B) website lets approved buyers log in, see their own rates and place bulk orders without calling you. BizTorq's B2B Wholesale Store package (from ₹75,000) includes buyer registration with approval, customer groups and wholesale pricing, MOQ and quantity steps, a bulk order sheet, quotation workflow and repeat orders.

Yes. Products can be sold as a full catalogue set at a set rate, as single pieces at a different rate, or both. Buyers see the number of pieces in the set, the per-piece rate and the set total before ordering — the same way they buy in the Ring Road markets.
Yes. Visitors can browse designs while prices stay hidden until a buyer registers and you approve them. Approved buyers can then be placed into groups — for example retailer, wholesaler, distributor — each seeing its own rate.
Yes. Customer-group pricing lets you set one rate for retailers, another for wholesalers and another for distributors or exporters. You can also add quantity-based discounts, such as a lower rate above 50 pieces.
Yes. MOQ can be set per product, per catalogue or per order value, and quantities can move in fixed steps (for example multiples of 4 or 6 pieces). Buyers cannot check out until the rule is met.
Yes. Search can be set up to match design numbers, catalogue names, fabric, work type and price range, because that is how textile buyers actually look for products. Filters for fabric, occasion, colour and size are added as needed.
Yes. New designs can be uploaded in bulk from an Excel/CSV sheet with images, so a full catalogue goes online in minutes instead of hours. We also give photography guidelines so new designs can go live the same week they are ready.
Yes, with a custom module. Agents can log in, place orders for their linked buyers and see commission reports. This is quoted on scope because every business pays commission differently.
Yes. Orders, customers and products can be exported in a format Tally or your ERP can import, or synced automatically through a custom integration. This is quoted after we see your current software.
Yes. The store can capture buyer GSTIN at registration, apply the correct GST rate per product and generate GST-compliant invoices. We set it up to match the way your CA wants invoices formatted.
How money comes in and parcels go out.
Yes. We integrate Indian payment gateways such as Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree, CCAvenue and PhonePe, supporting UPI, cards, net banking and wallets. You open the gateway account in your business name; we connect and test it. Gateways charge their own transaction fees — BizTorq takes no commission.
Yes. You can allow COD for retail orders, require a partial advance for wholesale orders, accept bank transfer/NEFT with manual confirmation, or restrict payment methods by customer group.
Yes. We integrate courier aggregators such as Shiprocket and couriers like Delhivery for automatic shipping rates, label printing and tracking. For wholesale orders sent by transport, we add fields for transporter name and LR number so buyers can track bulk parcels too.
Yes. Every product can have a WhatsApp button that sends the design number and image link to your number. Orders and enquiries can also trigger WhatsApp notifications, so your team responds the way buyers already prefer.
From first meeting to first order.
A catalogue website takes 3–4 weeks, a B2B wholesale store 5–8 weeks, and a full B2B + retail store with payments and shipping 8–12 weeks. The biggest factor in timing is usually how quickly product photos and details are ready, not development.
You need your logo, product photos, product details (design number, fabric, pieces per set, rates), business details including GSTIN, and a list of how you price for different buyers. If you do not have a domain yet, we help you pick and register one.
The process has five steps: a free consultation, a fixed written quote, design and catalogue structure approval, development with product loading, and launch with staff training. After launch you can continue with maintenance and SEO support.
Yes. We train your team in Gujarati or Hindi on adding products, handling orders, approving buyers and updating prices, and give a recorded walkthrough they can rewatch.
Yes. You can try a working wholesale demo on our demo page, and see live client stores on our work page.
Getting found after the website is live.
A well-built website gives you the foundation, but ranking needs ongoing SEO. Every BizTorq store launches with clean URLs, page titles, meta descriptions, XML sitemap, product schema and fast loading. Category and product SEO, content and reporting are available from ₹15,000/month.
Most textile stores start seeing steady organic enquiries within 3–6 months of consistent SEO work.
Yes, if the site is built for it. AI tools recommend businesses whose websites state clear facts: what you sell, where you are, MOQ, prices or price ranges, and answers to common buyer questions. We add structured data (Organization, Product, FAQ, LocalBusiness), clear FAQ content and a crawlable product catalogue so AI search engines can read and cite your store.
Yes. We set up a Google Merchant Center product feed so your designs can show in Google Shopping and the Shopping tab, including free listings. A Google Shopping feed is included in our Full Commerce package.
Yes. A complete Google Business Profile helps buyers searching for "saree wholesaler near me" or "kurti manufacturer in Surat" find your shop on Maps. We help set it up, link it to your website and keep your name, address and phone consistent everywhere.
Marketplaces bring orders but keep the customer, set the rules and take commission on every sale. Your own website lets you keep repeat wholesale buyers, set your own prices and MOQ, and build a brand that buyers search for by name. Most of our clients use both.
Yes. Your product catalogue can be synced to Meta Commerce Manager so designs can be tagged in Instagram and Facebook posts and linked back to your store.
What happens after launch.
Yes. BizTorq maintenance starts at ₹4,000/month and covers backups, security patches, uptime monitoring and small changes. Larger new features are quoted separately.
Yes. Hosting and domain are paid annually and are not included in the website price. We recommend hosting sized to your catalogue and traffic, and you can buy it directly in your name or through us.
Every store launches with SSL (https), admin security hardening and backups. On a maintenance plan, we monitor uptime, apply security updates and can restore from backup if something goes wrong.
Yes. We regularly take over existing OpenCart stores to fix bugs, improve speed, redesign the theme or add B2B features. We start with a short audit so you know what needs fixing before you commit.
Working with businesses outside Surat.
Yes. We work with Ahmedabad wholesalers and manufacturers, including M Dilip Kumar, a dress material and kurti wholesaler whose OpenCart store we built. Meetings can be in person or online. See our Ahmedabad page.
Yes. We work with textile businesses across India. Most of the project — planning, approvals, training — runs smoothly over video calls and WhatsApp.
Yes. We build stores for selling outside India with multi-currency pricing, international payment gateways (such as PayPal or Stripe, where eligible), country-wise shipping rates and multiple languages. International projects are quoted separately because payment and shipping setups vary by country.
No question matches that yet. Ask us on WhatsApp and we'll answer - and probably add it here.
Tell us what you sell and how you price it. We'll answer on WhatsApp, or come to your office in Surat.
