What decides the price

Two things move the price more than anything else: catalogue size and B2B rules. A store with 200 designs and one price list is a much smaller job than one with 5,000 designs, dealer-wise rates, credit limits and set-wise selling.

  • Number of products and categories, and whether you load them or we do.
  • B2B rules: buyer approval, customer-group pricing, MOQ, quantity steps, set or per-metre selling.
  • Integrations: payment gateway, courier, WhatsApp, Tally or ERP export.
  • Design: a tuned standard theme or a fully custom one.

Running costs after launch

Domain: a .in domain costs about ₹625 a year; .com is usually a little more. Hosting: sized to your catalogue and traffic; we recommend a plan before launch and you can buy it directly. Payment gateway: about 2% of each online payment plus GST on that fee; bank transfers and credit orders from dealers carry no gateway fee. Maintenance: ₹4,000 a month covers backups, security patches, uptime monitoring and small changes.

Website vs marketplace: the cost you don't see

Marketplaces look free to start but take a share of every order and own the buyer relationship. Your own website costs more upfront, then charges no commission, keeps your rates private and builds a customer list you own. For a wholesaler with repeat dealers, that difference grows with every order.

Ways to keep the cost down

  1. Start with a catalogue website and add B2B ordering once buyers use it.
  2. Launch with your 100 to 250 best designs, not the full range.
  3. Have product photos and specs ready before work starts; delays here cost the most time.
  4. Use standard OpenCart features where they fit and build custom modules only where they pay back.

Frequently asked questions

Why do you quote "starting from" prices?

Because catalogue size and B2B rules change the work a lot. We give a fixed quote after one conversation about how many designs you have and how you price them.

Is GST extra?

Yes. BizTorq prices exclude GST, which is added at 18% on each invoice. If you are GST-registered you can usually claim it as input tax credit.

Do you take a commission on my sales?

No. You own the store and the data and pay no per-order fee to BizTorq. Payment gateways charge their own fee on online payments.

How are payments for the project split?

Usually in milestones: an advance to start, a payment on design and catalogue approval, and the balance at launch. Monthly services are billed monthly.

Can I upgrade from a catalogue website later?

Yes. The catalogue website is built on the same OpenCart base, so B2B ordering, payments and a retail store can be added without starting over.
